1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and understand how you use the site. Some cookies are essential for the website to function; others help us improve the Service through analytics.

2. Cookie Categories

We classify cookies into the following categories:

(a) Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. They include session cookies for authentication, CSRF protection tokens, and cookies that remember your cookie consent preferences. Without these cookies, the Service cannot operate. Legal basis: Legitimate interest in providing the Service.

(b) Analytics Cookies. These cookies help us understand how users interact with the Service by collecting anonymized usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration). We use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics cookies are only set after you provide explicit consent through our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time. Legal basis: Consent.

3. Specific Cookies We Use

The following table describes the specific cookies used by the Service:

  • sb-access-token (Strictly Necessary): Supabase authentication session token. Expires when the browser session ends. First-party.
  • sb-refresh-token (Strictly Necessary): Supabase session refresh token. Expires after 7 days. First-party.
  • cookie-consent (Strictly Necessary): Records your cookie consent preferences. Expires after 12 months. First-party.
  • csrf-token (Strictly Necessary): Cross-site request forgery protection. Expires when the browser session ends. First-party.
  • ph_* (Analytics): PostHog analytics cookies. Set only after consent. Expires after 12 months. First-party (self-hosted).

4. Your Choices

When you first visit the Service, a cookie consent banner will appear. You may accept or decline analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the Service cannot function without them.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the Service.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. For more information about how to manage cookies in your browser, visit your browser's help documentation.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. If you decline analytics cookies through our consent banner, we will not track your usage regardless of your DNT setting.

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website. If we make material changes, we will reset your cookie preferences and ask for your consent again.

7. Contact

If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at privacy@preveio.com.

We use cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies keep the Service running. With your consent we also use analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand product usage. Read our Cookie Policy.
